Your Guide to This Year's Ramadan TV Series

Ramadan begins on Saturday, April 2nd for more than two billion Muslims around the globe.

The holy month will be marked that day in several countries such as Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Singapore, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia, Turkey, Kazakhstan, UAE, Syria, Iraq, Oman, and Indonesia.

Ramadan holds religious significance to Muslims as it is the fourth pillar of Islam and was the month that the Quran was first revealed to Prophet Muhammad by God.

The holy month is a time dedicated to religious devotion and family bonding and gathering around televisions at home to watch the post-Iftar soaps.

“SEENews” lines up new television series set to be aired during Ramadan on different TV channels.

El Ekhteyar: Al Qarar

Starring: Ahmed El Sakka, Ahmed Ezz, Khaled El Sawy, Mahmoud El-Bezzawy, Bayoumi Fouad, Sabry Fawwaz, and others.

“El Ekhteyar 3” also features Karim Abdel Aziz reprising his role as Zakaria Younes from the previous part.
