The production of every TV series that was scheduled to participate in Ramadan 2020 drama marathon got suspended as a precaution to stem the spread of coronavirus.
As the holy month of Ramadan nears, which marks one of the most seasonal month for featuring new drama production in the Arab world, many drama makers began to promote their productions after its filming was completed.
Here's your guide to the productions that have been confirmed for premiere during the upcoming Ramadan 2020 drama marathon so far.
Valentino
Prominent actor, Adel Emam is scheduled to participate in Ramadan 2020 drama marathon TV series with TV series “Valentino”.
It also stars Dalal Abdelaziz, Hamdy El-Merghany, Badria Tolba, Soliman Eid, and others.
The TV series is written by writer and poet Ayman Bahgat Kamar and directed by Emam’s older son, Ramy.

Prominent Egyptian actress, Yousra will participate in the Ramadan 2020 drama marathon with TV series “Dahab Eira”.

Nisa Min Dahab
Glamorous stars, Nadia El Gendy and Nabila Ebeid is collaborating for the first time this Ramadan with TV series “Nisa min dahab” (Women made of Gold).
The series is written by Amin Gamal and directed by Wael Ehsan, and is adapted from an American story produced by the famed Disney company.
“Nisa min dahab” will star four strong female leads, featuring El Gendy, Ebeid, Hala Fakher, and Samiha Ayoub.

Egyptian actor Mohamed Ramadan is set to participate in Ramadan marathon with TV series “Al Prince” (The Prince).
TV series “Al Prince” also stars Rogena, Nour, Naglaa Badr, Donia Abd Elaziz, Ahmed Zaher, Edward, Abduel Aziz Makhyoon, Safa Toukhi, Salwa Othman, and others.
It is written and directed by Mohamed Samy, and produced by Synergy Production Company.
This will be the second cooperation between Ramadan and Mohamed Samy; they cooperated for the first time in 2016 TV series “Al Ostoura”, which achieved great success during premiere time.

Egyptian actor Hassan El Raddad is slated to participate in Ramadan marathon with TV series “Shahid Ayan” (Eyewitness), which will premiere during the holy month of Ramadan.

The choice
Egyptian actor Amir Karara is going to partake in Ramadan 2020 drama marathon with TV series “El Ekhtebar- Ahmed el-Mansy” (The Choice- Ahmed el-Mansy).
The TV series features several guest appearances including Egyptian actor Asser Yassin, and Jordanian actor and director, Eyad Nassar.
The TV series is written by Baher Dowidar, directed by Peter Mimi, and produced by Synergy.
Karara will play the role of martyr Colonel Ahmed el-Mansy in the series, and actor Ahmed Elawady will play terrorist Hisham Ashmawy.
El-Mansy was the commander of Sa’ka Forces (Thunderbolt Forces) battalion 103, who was martyred with several other members of his battalion on July 7th, 2017.
They were killed during clashes between Egyptian army forces and militants in a terror attack launched on an Egyptian armed forces checkpoint in Rafah, North Sinai.
The series will be the first time to present the life of the commander in artistic work.
