On Sunday, the Royal Chariots Museum announced that it will hold an event to celebrate Orphan's Day, which falls on April 1 of each year. The celebration is held in cooperation with the General Administration of Historic Cairo.

Director General of the Museum Ahmed El Sabbagh said that this year's celebration coincides with the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan.

During the celebration, a symposium, in which Director General of the General Administration of Historic Cairo Dalia El Gohary will speak, will be held. The symposium is entitled “The Legacies & Customs of Ramadan in the Past.”

Also, a children's art workshop entitled "Make Your Lantern" will be held to teach children how to make Ramadan lanterns themselves.

El Sabbagh added that a tour will be organized for children by the museum's curators, to acquaint them with all its holdings and the distinguished artifacts it contains, in addition to organizing a number of art and entertainment competitions, and granting gifts.
