A few moments ago, iconic Palestinian poet and activist Mourid Barghouti passed away at the age of 77 years old.
Barghouti is known for his revolutionary poetry against the Israeli occupation of Palestine.
He was the husband of beloved and epic author and professor Dr. Radwa Ashour who is known for "Tantoreya" (Women from Tantoura), and "Thulathiet Ghernata" (Granda).
Also, the couple's son, Tamim Barghouti, is one of the most remarkable poets currently.
