Nigeria, Zimbabwe National Teams Head to Egypt

National teams of Zimbabwe and Nigeria are heading to Egypt on Sunday evening on the same airplane ahead of the 2019 AFCON, which is set to take place in Egypt from 21 June to 19 July.

Both Sides departed Asaba, Nigeria after they held a goalless draw during a friendly match at the Stephen Keshi Stadium on Saturday as a part of the Warriors and the Super Eagles preparations for the upcoming showpiece tournament.B

Warriors are in group A alongside Egypt, Uganda, and DR Congo, as they will begin their campaign against pharaohs on June 21 at Cairo Stadium in the opening match at 22:00 pm (CLT).

Whereas the three-times title holder, picked in group B alongside Guinea, Madagascar, and Burundi, will start their mission against Burundi on June 22 at 19:00 pm (CLT).  The Super Eagles are due to continue their preparations in Ismailia governorate, Egypt, before departing to Alexandria to begin their campaign.
