French President Emmanuel Macron, and Moroccan King Mohammed VI discussed the Libyan crisis, Saturday, ahead of Berlin conference, set to kick off later today Sunday, according to the royal court.
In a phone call, the talks highlighted the significant role played by Morocco and its sincere efforts to solve the Libyan crisis over many years.
These efforts resulted in the “Skhirat” agreement, which was endorsed by the Security Council and enjoys the support of the international community.

The German government has invited the warring parties in the North African country and their foreign supporters to the chancellery in Berlin.
The hope for on Sunday's talks is to achieve stability for the whole region.
The conference participants
The summit will be attended by representatives of the five permanent members of the UN Security Council along with the states concerned with the Libyan crisis in addition to representatives for international and regional organizations.
The participants' list includes Russian President Vladimir Putin, US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson, Algerian President Abdul Majeed Tebboune, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Arab League Secretary-General Ahmed Abul Gheit, Libya’s prime minister of the Government of National Accord Fayez al-Sarraj, Commander of the Libya National Army Khalifa Haftar and UN Envoy to Libya Ghassan Salame.
