Zendaya and Tom Holland have tied the knot.
Zendaya’s stylist, Law Roach, broke the news of their marriage on the red carpet at the SAG Actor Awards on Sunday, telling Access Hollywood, “The wedding has already happened. You missed it.” The reporter asked, “Is that true?” to which Roach laughed and confirmed: “It’s very true.”
Last month, the longtime couple sparked marriage rumors after the “Euphoria” star was spotted wearing a gold band on her left ring finger, instead of her five-carat engagement ring.
Zendaya, 29, debuted her five-carat diamond ring on the 2025 Golden Globes red carpet. Later in 2025, Holland confirmed they were betrothed after correcting a reporter who referred to Zendaya as his partner. In a clip that circulated online, Holland laughed while clarifying: “Fiancée.”
The Jessica McCormack design has a cushion-cut center stone set in an east-west style on the designer’s signature button backing.
The British actor, 29, popped the question sometime between Christmas and New Year’s Eve 2024, shortly after the couple got complementary tattoos.
A source told the outlet that while Holland and Zendaya — who play onscreen couple Peter Parker and Michelle "MJ" Jones in the Spider-Man movies — "had discussed marriage over the years,” Zendaya “had no idea” that Holland was going to propose.
“They both value their privacy, so the proposal was something Tom wanted to keep private as well,” the insider added.
In addition, the source confirmed Holland asked Zendaya’s parents, Kazembe Ajamu Coleman and Claire Stoermer, for permission to propose.
Holland’s father, Dominic, later revealed details about the engagement in a Patreon blog post. “Tom, as you know by now, was very incredibly well prepared. He had purchased a ring. He had spoken with her father and gained permission to propose to his daughter,” he wrote in January 2025.
Dominic also said that buying the engagement ring “was the least of Tom’s worries.”

Zendaya and Holland were first romantically linked in 2017, after years of maintaining they were just friends. They didn’t go public with their relationship until 2021.
However, just months after their characters shared their first kiss in 2019's "Spider-Man: Far from Home", life imitated art for the pair. Much to fans' delight, they were spotted together in a car in July 2021, confirming their off-screen romance.
In September of that year, they went Instagram official, with Holland sharing a selfie of the pair in honor of Zendaya's 25th birthday and affectionately calling the "Euphoria" star "my MJ" in the caption.
Weeks later, in a November 2021 interview with GQ, Holland expressed his desire to keep their relationship private.
"One of the downsides of our fame is that privacy isn't really in our control anymore, and a moment that you think is between two people that love each other very much is now a moment that is shared with the entire world," he told the outlet.
He added that the pair would decide together when the time was right to share details about their relationship.
"This isn't my story. It's our story. And we'll talk about what it is when we're ready to talk about it together," Holland explained.
The couple's romance continued to blossom over the following months and years. And while they maintained a low profile, Zendaya shared her love for Holland in quiet ways.
In a June 2022 Instagram post celebrating the "Uncharted" star's 26th birthday, she wrote simply, "Happiest of birthdays to the one who makes me the happiest <3," alongside a black-and-white snapshot of the pair cuddling.
In March 2023, she was spotted wearing a gold ring etched with Holland's initials in a video posted by Zendaya's nail artist on Instagram.
Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter in June 2023, Holland reiterated why the couple prefers to keep their relationship under wraps. “Our relationship is something that we are incredibly protective of, and we want to keep as sacred as possible," he explained at the time. "We don’t think that we owe it to anyone, it’s our thing, and it has nothing to do with our careers.”
The following month, he revealed that his relationship with Zendaya is the thing he holds "most sacred" in life.
"I don’t talk about it. I try my best to keep it as private as possible," he said while appearing on the On Purpose with Jay Shetty podcast. "We both feel very strongly that that is the healthiest way to move on as a couple."

Zendaya echoed that sentiment in an August 2023 interview with Elle, telling the magazine that her priority is "protecting the peace" in her relationship with Holland amid the relentless public interest and paparazzi presence.
"Parts of my life, I accept, are going to be public. I can’t not be a person and live my life and love the person I love," she said.
"But also, I do have control over what I choose to share," Zendaya added. "It’s about protecting the peace and letting things be your own but also not being afraid to exist. You can’t hide. That’s not fun either. I am navigating it more than ever now.”

The couple is notoriously private and rarely talks publicly about their relationship. However, they have been open about the perks of working with each other.
Holland and Zendaya reprised their roles as Peter Parker and Michelle Jones Watson in 2019’s “Spider-Man: Far From Home” and 2021’s “Spider-Man: No Way Home.” They’ll share the screen twice in 2026, first in June’s “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” and later in July’s “The Odyssey” from director Christopher Nolan.
“It’s a saving grace. [It’s the] best thing that’s ever happened to me,” Holland said in 2024. “It’s that perfect thing when you’re on set and a director will give you a note that maybe you don’t agree with, or I know that she doesn’t particularly like, and it’s just that, like, familiar glance at each other of, like, ‘Can’t wait to talk about that later.’”
Meanwhile, Zendaya revealed they met at a chemistry read and attests it’s “strangely comfortable” to act alongside her partner.
“It’s like second nature, if anything,” she told Vanity Fair in 2025. “You feel extra safe with the person you’re acting beside. I love working with him. He’s so talented and so passionate about what he does. He always gives things one thousand percent, even if he’s absolutely worn down. I really appreciate that about him. It feels pretty normal.”
