Zewail City of Science and Technology (ZCST) inked a cooperation protocol for three years with 6th of October Investors Association which includes a large number of businessmen, investors and industrialists.
The protocol aims at providing summer training courses for the students in the 6th of October city factories to help them gaining practical experience. Upon the completion of the training course, students will undertake a graduation project.
The graduation project is scheduled to be linked with the actual problems and needs of the factories.
Dr. Sherif Sedky, the Executive President of ZCST said that the city aims to keep abreast of what is new in the field of scientific research and work to find solutions to the problems facing Egypt in the industry, to place Egypt in an advanced position among the various countries of the world.
He added that the protocol’s goal is to link the scientific research with new scientific innovations to serve Egypt and its national economy.
On his part, Eng. Mohamed Khamis Shaaban, Chairman of the 6th of October Investors Association, underlined the importance of this protocol especially in the light of Egypt’s seeking to benefit from the tremendous developments achieved by the world in various fields.
Moreover, he noted that Egypt's sons are doing their best to raise Egypt’s name high and put it in a leading position.
