Zaki Fateen Abdel Wahab's Final Film Will Be "The Spider"

Egyptian actor, Zaki Fateen Abdel Wahab will make a posthumous appearance in Ahmed El Sakka and Mona Zaki‘s film “The Spider” (El-Ankaboot).

The film is set to release a month and a half after his death. The late actor had finished shooting the film over a year ago.

“The Spider” also stars Dhafer El Abidine, Yosra El Lozy, Ahmed Fouad Selim, Reem Mustafa, Akram El-Sharkawy, Mahmoud Gharib, Ramez Amir, Mohamed Lotfy, and others.

It is directed by Ahmed Nader Galal, written by Muhammad Nair, and produced by Walid Sabry.

Abdel Wahab died March 20 at 61 after a long battle with a disease.

In June 2021, the late actor announced that he was diagnosed with a stage 4 brain tumor. He won a one-year fight against lung cancer in 2019.

Abdel Wahab was born on December 15, 1955. He was the son of iconic singer Laila Mourad and director Fateen Abdel Wahab.

He graduated from the High Cinema Institute in 1983. Abdel Wahab is best known for his roles in films “Baheb El Cima”, “Wahid Saheeh”, and “Eskendereya Kaman we Kaman”.

The actor was also known for his roles in TV series such as “Ahel Cairo”, “Taraf Talet”, and “Covid-25”.
