Mahmoud Al-Metiny, President of Ain Shams University announced that former Minister of Antiquities Zahi Hawass will join the Faculty of Archeology as a visiting professor.
Al-Metiny added that the university will benefit from Hawass's valuable experience in Egyptology, as he is considered a role model for students, and scholars.
Hawass was the former Minister of State for Antiquities Affairs, and he has worked in several Egyptian archaeological sites.
An Egyptologist, and former Minister of State for Antiquities Affairs, Hawass is considered the most popular contemporary Egyptian archaeologist, and is internationally recognized for his achievements in the field of archeology.
