Renowned Egyptian archaeologist Dr. Zahi Hawass delivered a major lecture at the theater of Arezzo, Italy, attended by more than one thousand enthusiasts of ancient Egyptian civilization.
During his lecture, Hawass highlighted some of his most important archaeological discoveries, while also discussing the preparations underway for the inauguration of the Grand Egyptian Museum, set to be the largest museum of antiquities in the world.
Following the lecture, Hawass signed copies of his newly released novel, “Khufu and the Golden-Eyed Girl”, a captivating narrative that reimagines the life of King Khufu, the builder of the Great Pyramid and one of Egypt’s most iconic rulers.
Hawass is scheduled to travel today to the city of Catania in Sicily, where he will continue his literary tour with another book signing, in collaboration with one of Italy’s most prominent publishing houses.
The tour will also include further signing events in two nearby cities, reinforcing the strong cultural and artistic ties between Egypt and Italy.
