Zahi Hawass Reveals Details of His Meeting with MrBeast

Egyptian archaeologist, Dr. Zahi Hawass shared the details of his meeting with the YouTube superstar Jimmy Donaldson, known as MrBeast.

Hawass met with the renowned YouTuber for the episode "I Spent 100 Hours Inside The Pyramids!," which was released on YouTube on Saturday and has stormed the internet, garnering nearly 65 million views.

The video features MrBeast and three friends exploring the Giza Pyramids, the oldest of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.

The archaeologist disclosed before meeting with MrBeast, he pressed on making his appearance on the show "Beast Games" on the condition of confirming to the world that Egyptians are the builders of the pyramids, especially since his followers on social media surpassed 600 million followers, all of whom are under the age of 20 and are of different ages as well.

"I took him to the Sphinx and went down the tunnel behind the statue and demonstrated to the world that the tunnel dates back to 500 years BC," Hawass added. "Then we went to the tombs of the pyramid builders and dug up a skeleton to show him that the Egyptians built the pyramids,".

Hawass explained that the most dangerous adventure with MrBeast was above the five chambers, and noted "The ascent was very difficult."

"I informed him of two names of the workers who were discovered and read him the 13th year of King Khufu’s reign, which confirms that all the lies said about the pyramids are myths and that the Egyptians are the builders of the pyramids," he remarked.

Hawass pointed out that he is elated that the video exceeded 60 million views worldwide.

He stressed the show is one of the most important programs that shows the truth about Egyptian antiquities and what is rumored about the pyramids and is the best advertisement for Egyptian tourism.
