Zahi Hawass Institute Organizes Egyptian History Course for Free

Zahi Hawass Institute of Egyptology at Bibliotheca Alexandrina organized a course for free on Egypt's history and civilization for university students at the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square.

The renowned Egyptologist said that the course aims to raise the archaeological awareness of Egyptian university students and emphasize the Egyptian identity through the achievements of the ancient Egyptian civilization.

Meanwhile, Ahmed Badran, a professor at Faculty of Archaeology at Cairo University, said the course will focus on the history of ancient Egypt about which the American archaeologist James Henry Breasted talked.

The course will review the Pre-Dynastic and Early Dynastic period till the Greco-Roman era.
