Zahi Hawass Center of Egyptology affiliated to the Bibliotheca Alexandria (BA) will organize a workshop for children entitled "Egypt Pharaohs Adventure" next Thursday (February 20) at Princess Khadija Palace in Helwan district, Cairo, at 10 am.

Children will get to know about antiquities in general and the importance of preserving them, as well as why is it not okay to break the law, in addition to the importance of handling any discovered antiquities over to the state.

They will also be introduced to the Ancient Egyptian heroes, such as Mentuhotep II, Thutmose III, Seqenenre Tao, along with getting to know about well-known kings like Akhenaten and Tutankhamun.

Later, they will partake in a small workshop about excavation in the sand while using small shovels to dig up monuments that were buried in the sand, during which they will take part in several quick competitions, uncovering what was done to them.
