Zahi Hawass Institute of Egyptology is set to organize on Thursday a lecture on Dr. Husssin Bassir's book "The Egyptian Queens ,, Drama of Love and Power" at Bibliotheca Alexandrina.
The book talks about 30 Egyptian queens beginning from Queen Neithhotep who ruled during the early First Dynasty to Queens Hatshepsut, Nefertari, Nefertiti, and Twosret, who ruled during the Nineteenth Dynasty, till Queen Cleopatra.
The queens of Egypt proved their merit, either next to their husbands, great kings of Egypt or as regents of their sons' thrones of or when they took over the rule of great Egypt as solo queens. They really played a great role in history.
