Zahi Hawass Adopts ‘1000 Writers’ Initiative to Support Egypt in Fighting Coronavirus

Archaeologist Dr. Zahi Hawass announced his full support for the initiative of 1,000 writers, and expressed his happiness at the initiative's campaign to support the Egyptian state to combat the novel coronavirus.

Hawass praised the various activities that the campaign offer to support young people in various cultural specialties such as writing, singing, and offering meaningful and satirical videos and many other activities, inviting all segments of society to support the campaign and the initiative.

The campaign aims to educate young people about the dangers of the stage and adhere to state directives, and not to spread rumors on social media and harm national security, by setting a program of various activities to support and motivate young people during the next stage, through social media

Mahmoud Haggag, the founder of the 1000 Writer Initiative, hailed the support of Hawass for the initiative and the campaign, stressing that it will be a great addition at all levels.

Haggag pointed out that the celebrities of art and politics participating in the campaign will be announced in the coming days.
