Production on Egyptian actor Youssef El Sherif's hotly-anticipated TV series "The Raccoon" has been postponed again after several attempts to launch filming over the past period.
The drama has been stuck in production hell for quite some time.
It was initially slated to screen during the Ramadan 2024 drama marathon but was postponed to Ramadan 2025 before being rescheduled to Ramadan 2026.
The show's creators are now eyeing to debut "The Raccoon" in Ramadan 2027.
The drama consists of 15 episodes and hails from scriptwriter Engy Alaa and director Mohamed El-Adl. Synergy is the studio behind the project.
"The Raccoon" witnesses El Sherif's long-awaited return to the drama marathon after four years of absence.
He made his last participation in the drama marathon with the 2021 TV series "Covid-25".
