Yousra Teams Up with Director Mohamed Sami for New TV Series

Veteran Egyptian actress Yousra is joining hands for the first time with screenwriter and director Mohamed Sami for her next TV series.

The untitled project will be a mini series and is currently in the writing process.

Yousra made her last onscreen appearance in the 2023 TV series “1000 Hamdallah Ala Al Salama”.

The cast also included Mohamed Tharwat, Shaima Seif, Mayan El Sayed, Adam El Sharkawy, Otaka, and others.

Mahraganat singer Enba will make his acting debut in the upcoming series.

The series is penned by Mohamed Zulfiqar, helmed by Amro Salah, and produced by the El Adl Group.

Yousra, born on March 10, 1955, is an actress, a singer, a United Nations Goodwill Ambassador, and a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

The iconic cinematic legend is one of the most recognizable names in the region and has been gracing the silver screen for more than 50 years.

Since the 1970s, Yousra has starred in some of the most important films in the history of Egyptian cinema, appearing in over 100 films.

Her roles in films and TV series continue to influence and inspire generations to this day.
