Egyptian veteran actress Yousra will team up once again with actor Ahmed Ezz in the play "Malak And Alshater".
The play reunites the duo for the first time in 20 years after collaborating on the 2003 TV series "Malak Rohi" and witnesses Yousra's comeback to the stage after making her last theatrical appearance in the 2002 play "Lama Baba Yenam".
"Malak And Alshater" is set to be staged from June 26 - July 6, within the activities of the Riyadh Season in Saudi Arabia.
The cast also stars Sayed Ragab, Shimaa Seif, Mostafa Gharieb, and more.
Written and directed by Mohammad El Mohammady, "Malak And Alshater" follows Al-Shater Hassan embarking on a great adventure and passing through many lands and islands to obtain (the black saffron) to save the queen, Malak " Sett Al-Kul " and break the spell that has afflicted her, causing her to sleep all year long and wake up only one day.
Yousra, born on March 10, 1955, is an actress, a singer, a United Nations Goodwill Ambassador, and a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
The iconic cinematic legend is one of the most recognizable names in the region and has been gracing the silver screen for more than 50 years.
Since the 1970s, Yousra has starred in some of the most important films in the history of Egyptian cinema, appearing in over 100 films.
Her roles in films and TV series continue to influence and inspire generations to this day.
