Operating under the inspiring slogan, "He who stops reading for an hour falls behind by centuries," Friday’s events (January 23) showcased a diverse array of cultural and artistic endeavors designed to empower Egypt's youth.

Honoring State Award Winners

The day’s highlights included book signing ceremonies for young laureates of the State Award for the Young Innovator, moderated by artist Galal El-Din Gamal:

* "Ala Maqam Saba" Poetry Collection: Featuring the works of gifted young poet Ahmed Ramadan, with illustrations by the talented Yahya Mohamed Afifi.

* "Al-Irada" (The Will) Poetry Collection: Showcasing poems by the young creative Abdel Rahman Mostafa, complemented by the illustrations of Samiha Mohamed Abdullah.

Artistic Workshops and Interactive Storytelling

NCCC artists engaged children in several hands-on creative workshops, including:

* Ceramic Coloring and Pottery Clay Shaping.

* Crepe Paper Art, where participants crafted floral designs.

* "Teatro Fauteuil": A dramatic storytelling session of the book "Zoga and Puta," written by Dr. Damiana Wagih and illustrated by Veronica Atallah, presented by artist Iman Nafea.

Entertainment and Competitions

The festivities extended to the Grand Stage, where the "Banat Wa Bass" troupe, led by artist Abdel Rahman Oscar, performed a captivating showcase. Additionally, cultural competitions were held throughout the day, with winners receiving a curated selection of NCCC’s latest publications to encourage continued reading and discovery.
