"Youm 13" Gets Streaming Release Date

The horror film "Youm 13" (Day 13) will make its streaming debut exclusively on the "Shahid" streaming platform on Tuesday, October 31. 

The film features a star-studded cast that includes Ahmed Dawood, Dina El Sherbiny, Sherif Mounir, Ahmed Zaher, Joumana Mourad, Noha Abdin, Magdy Kamel, Nesreen Amin, Mohamed Kilany, Arwa Gouda, Mohamed Tharwat, Phaedra, Mahmoud Abd Elmoghny, and others.

Directed and scripted by Wael Abdallah, "Youm 13" is centered around Ezz Eldin (played by Dawood) who returns to his family house after a long time and confronts his eerie past that he tried to forget.

"Youm 13" was first announced in 2019 and premiered in the cinemas during the Eid Al-Fitr movie marathon. 

The film is inspired by true stories and marks Egypt's first-ever horror 3D film. 

"Youm 13" witnesses the fourth collaboration between Dawood and El Sherbiny after working together in “Grand Hotel”, “Hepta”, and “Zay El Shams”.
