Veteran artist Yehia El-Fakharany is trending social media after the death rumors, Al-Ain reported on Saturday.
The rumors have been denied by El-Fakharany about his death, however, the artist's fans were in terrible mood of fear and concern over the actor's health.
In the same context, Dr. Ashaf Zaki, the head of the Syndicate of Acting Professions, denied the news about El Fakhrany's health.
It was reported early this year that El-Fakharany will make a comeback to the big screen after 24 years of absence.
The acclaimed actor shared that he will star in a new film called “Benzo”, written by Taghreed Gamal and directed by Sara Wafiq.
He added that the film is completely new and different from all his previous works.
The announcement was made during the acclaimed actor and his wife veteran writer Lamis Gaber’s appearance on veteran actress and TV presenter Esaad Younis’ program “Sahebat Al-Saada”.
The veteran actor participated last Ramadan with TV series “Nagib Zahi Zarkash”.
The series also starred Hala Fakher, Anoushka, Ahmed Khaled Saleh, Islam Ibrahim, Ramez Amir, Karim Afifi, and others.
“Nagib Zahi Zarkash” was directed by El-Fakharany’s son, director Shady, and written by Abdel-Rahim Kamal.
