Yehia El-Fakharany, Mahmoud Hemida, Soheir Ramzy, and Hanaa Al Shorbagi are among the stars being honored at the 71st edition of the Egyptian Catholic Center Cinema Festival.
The event, headed by Father Boutros Daniel, will take place from May 5 to May 12, 2021.
Moreover, acclaimed director Inaam Mohmed Ali is set to receive the "Farid El Mazzaoui" award and Samy Maghawry is to be awarded the "Father Youssef Mazloum" award. The media excellence award will be given to Mahmoud Saad.
Meanwhile, the center’s special award will be handed to the superstar Medhat Saleh and the center's encouragement prize went to actress Tara Emad.
The "Art Creativity" award will be awarded to scriptwriter Medhat Al-Adl, musician Hisham Nazih, art critic Nader Adly, and director of photography Ayman Abu Al-Makarem.
Nelly Karim won best actress in a drama for her performance in "Faten Amal Harby" and Ahmed Amin won Best Actor in a drama for his role in the series “Gezira Guam”.
