Yasmin Raeis and Hani Salama Reteam for Film "Al Haris"

Egyptian stars Yasmin Raeis and Hani Salama have found their next collaboration in the film "Al Haris" (The Vigilante).

While plot details and release date remain under wraps, the pic hails from scriptwriter Omar Abdelhalim Monib and director Yasser Samy.

"Al Haris" marks Raeis and Salama's second collaboration after the 2011 romantic film "Wahid Saheeh".

Raqam Siri

Raeis can be seen in season 2 of the crime TV series “Sowt W Sora", titled "Raqam Siri".

Season 1 debuted in October 2023 after it was initially set to screen during the Ramadan 2024 drama marathon. The series boasted a cast that included the likes of Hanan Motawie, Naglaa Badr, Sedky Sakher, Amr Wahab, Mourad Makram, Nardine Farag, and others.

The 30-episode series was scripted by Mohamed Suleiman Abdel-Malik, directed by Mahmoud Abdel-Tawab Toba, and produced by Aroma Studios.

The follow-up features the return of original cast members Sedky Sakher, Amr Wahab, Nardine Farag, Ramy Al Tumbary, and Ahmed Shaheen as well as newcomers Ahmed Al Rafeay and Rania Mansour.

The drama sees scriptwriter Mohamed Suleiman Abdel-Malik and director Mahmoud Abdel-Tawab Toba returning for season two. It is produced by the "Watch It" VOD platform and Aroma Studios production company.

Raeis, born in Cairo in 1985, made her acting debut in the 2010 TV series "Ard Khas" (Special Screening).

She is best known for her roles in films "X Large", "Wahid Saheeh", "Al-Maslaha", "Soni'a Fi Misr", "Fatat Al Masna", "Hepta: El Mohadra El Akhyra", and "Al-Bahth An Um Kalthoum".

Raeis collaborated with director Mohamed Khan in the 2013 film "Fatat Al Masna"(Factory Girl) in a leading role, which drew a lot of attention and won her several awards including the "Best Actress Award" from the Dubai International Film Festival.
