Karim Fahmy is the first star to board actress Yasmin Abdelaziz's upcoming TV series.
The drama is set to screen during the Ramadan 2025 drama marathon.
The untitled project reunites Abdelaziz with Fahmy. This marks the duo's second collaboration after the 2020 TV series "We Nehib Tani Leh".
The drama also witnesses Abdelaziz collaborating with scriptwriter Amr Mahmoud Yassin for the third time.
They previously worked together on the 2020 TV series "We Nehib Tani Leh" and the 2021 TV series "Elly Malosh Kbeer".
Abdelaziz previously revealed that she is preparing for a new TV series to screen during the holy month of Ramadan next year.
"It will be a romantic series because all the people requesting this from me. They desire to watch something like “Wi Neheb Tani Leh” and, God willing, I will do something like that that will appeal to them," she said.
Abdelaziz is also gearing up to make a comeback to the big screen after six years of absence. She made her last onscreen appearance in the 2018 film “EL-Abla Tam Tam", which premiered during the Eid Al-Fitr movie marathon.
The cast also starred Hamdy Al-Merghany, Bayoumi Fouad, Mostafa Abo Seria, Hesham Ismail, Mahmoud Gharib, and others.
“EL-Abla Tam Tam" was written by Ayman Uttar and directed by Ali Idris.
The plot revolves around a scaredy-cat, teacher Tam Tam, who is forced to protect her classroom after a group of prisoners broke out of prison using an underground tunnel that leads them into a school.
Abdelaziz, born on January 16, 1980, is an Egyptian actress and former model. She enrolled in the Modern Academy in Maadi and made her debut at the age of 13 in commercials, which paved the road to her true calling, acting.
Thereafter, Abdelaziz was nominated for roles in cinematic and television productions. She made her acting debut in the 1998 TV series “Kot We Far”.
