Yasmin Abdelaziz and Ahmed Elawady's Ramadan 2023 Series Title Revealed

Egyptian star Yasmin Abdelaziz's upcoming TV series for Ramadan 2023 drama marathon has received a title.

The project titled, "Darb Nar" (Gunfire), is helmed by director Mostafa Fekry and screenwriter Nasser Abdel Rahman.

The cast also includes Ahmed Elawady, Hoda Eletreby, Iman El Sayed, and Badria Tolba.

It will also feature acclaimed actress Soheir El-Morshidy making her comeback to the small screen after four years of absence.

The series witnesses the third collaboration between Abdelaziz and Elawady after 2021's TV series "Elly Maloush Kbeer" and 2019’s TV series “Lakher Nafas”.

The series will also be Abdelaziz's first major role after suffering last year from a near-fatal health scare.

Abdelaziz, born on January 16, 1980, is an Egyptian actress and former model.

She enrolled in the Modern Academy in Maadi and made her debut at the age of 13 in commercials, which paved the road to her true calling, acting.

Thereafter, Abdelaziz was nominated for roles in cinematic and television productions.

She made her acting debut in the 1998 TV series “Kot We Far”.
