Early Sunday, WWE organized its new Pay-Per-View, Backlash, in Purto Reco, a night that witnessed Bad Bunny shining in the ring.
The event consisted of seven matches, including three title matches.
Bianca Blair successfully retained her title against Iyo Sky in a match that could be done better. But, it witnessed the rise of Sky as a real star and experienced wrestler.
The storytelling of the match showed that Sky lost the match after a failed interference of Damage CTRL which teased a faction split.
After that, a match between Seth Rollins and Omos took place. The crowds went crazy for witnessing Rollins before their eyes and signing his theme song. Omos did a decent match before Rollins.
The US title match came next between Austin Theory, Bobby Lashley, and Bronson Reeds. It was a good match, but it doesn't introduce any new creative ideas for the title story.
Rhea Ripley impressively defeated Zelena Vega, the star of the island, in a very good but short contest.
Vega was highly emotional in the match as she performed in her homeland for the first time.
Now came the match of the night, the San Juan Street Fight between two Puerto Rican stars, Bad Bunny and WWE Superstar Damian Priest.
It was the jewel of the show as Bunny showed excellent performance, strength, and passion during his match with Priest.
On the other hand, Priest presented his big match in his WWE career which drove everyone to show love and respect to the 41-year old star.
The match also showed great homage to Puerto Rican stars such as Carlito and Savio Vega who helped Bunny and LWO members against the Judgement Day.
