Early Sunday, the event of WWE NXT's Pay-Per-View, Halloween Havoc, took place in a cheerful and spooky atmosphere. The show was hosted by SmackDown Superstar Shotzi and NXT's newest talent Super Diva.

The match card consisted of six contests, including three title matches for NXT, NXT Women's, and NXT North America titles.

Highlights

No Major Title Shifts

The brand's major NXT, and NXT Women's championships were on the line.

NXT Women's champion Mandy Rose retained her title against Alba Fyre in a disappointing match in terms of performance.

The match proceeded with a Halloween-themed journey by Toxic Attraction in a haunted house where Fyre attacked the faction and kidnapped Rose to the venue of the event.

On the other hand, NXT Champion Bron Breakker retained his title in a fantastic and impressive main event match against former NXT UK Champion Ilja Dragunov and JD McDonagh.

The match was full of attractive spots, and well-made scripted storytelling, in addition, the three stars shone during the night and delivered incredible appearances.

Creed Brothers NXT Presence Secured

In a fine Ambulance match, Julius Creed succeeded in defeating Damon Kemp to save his brother's deal with the brand.

A stipulation of releasing Julius' brother, Brutus, in case of Kemp's victory.

Victorious Apollo Crews

During the kick-off show of Halloween Havoc, Shotzi made the annual Spin the Wheel, Make the Deal to select the type or the stipulation of Crews' match against Grayson Waller.

The wheel pointed to the Casket Match which was beautifully scripted into the theme of Halloween.

In addition, the match was a good and enjoyable one, and it presented beautiful tributes to several WWE legends such as Shawn Michaels and the Undertaker.

Better Appearance for Jade-Perez Contests

The feud between Cora Jade and Roxana Perez may have a disappointing beginning, alongside the poor performance of their first contest in NXT Heatwave.

Both stars did a good Weapons Wild Match with several attractive use of the weapons by the young athletes.

The exchange takeover between Jade and Perez served the mood of the story's theme of jealousy.

Ladder Match Rules, New North America Champion Crowned

Without any doubt, the North America Title was the best match of the night. All participants put their bodies on the line to entertain the audience with an unforgettable and high-athletic ladders match.

The participants of the match were selected through a mini tournament of qualifying matches for crowning a new North America champion after Solo Sikoa relinquished the title after his call-up to SmackDown's main roaster.

The majority of predictions pointed out Carmelo Hayes' victory, however, the match ended with Wes Lee standing on the top of the ladder, and holding the title.

Hayes' loss led WWE Universe to speculate his soon-to-be main roster debut as the fourth member of SmackDown's faction Hit Row

The sable said that they will reveal the identity of the fourth member next Friday.

Conclusion

The event was a fine, entertaining show, although many fans had higher expectations of the quality of the matches.

The pinning of Druganov by Breakker made a huge number of WWE fans criticize the result of the match and its ending.

Regardless of its result, the main event match was praised by the fans, alongside the impressive Ladder Match.
