World Hindi Day: MACIC to Hold Prize Distribution Ceremony on Feb. 23

World Hindi Day is celebrated under the auspices of the Ministry of External Affairs, Govt. of India, for the promotion of Hindi worldwide.

To celebrate ‘World Hindi Day 2022’, various online competitions were organised by Maulana Azad Centre for Indian Culture (MACIC), Embassy of India, Cairo on 16th February 2022.

A prize distribution ceremony for the winners of above-mentioned literary competitions shall be held by  (MACIC), Embassy of India, Cairo, at Hanager Cinema, Cairo Opera House ground from 4 PM to 6 PM on 23 February 2022.

It’s worth mentioning that Hindi is the third most spoken language of the world, the mother tongue of around 340 million people, and the official language of India. Outside India, Hindi and its derivatives are spoken in over 20 countries.
