World-Class Italian Concert in Collaboration with Italian Cultural Institute and EUNIC Egypt

Under the auspices of Dr. Ahmed Fouad Hano, Egypt’s Minister of Culture, the National Center for Theatre, Music, and Folk Arts is set to host an international musical performance featuring the renowned Italian cellist Ettore Pagano.

The event is organized in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute in Cairo and the European Union National Institutes for Culture (EUNIC Egypt). This performance marks the debut of a promising artistic and cultural partnership between the organizing bodies.

A Bridge Between Cultures

Director Adel Hassan, Head of the National Center for Theatre, Music, and Folk Arts, described the collaboration as a "qualitative leap in cultural openness," establishing a fruitful artistic exchange between Egypt and Europe. He noted that the Center is proud to host an event that blends musical authenticity with high-level international expertise, with the full support of Director Hesham Atwa, Head of the Theatre Sector.

About the Artist: Ettore Pagano

Ettore Pagano is recognized as one of Europe’s most prominent cellists. His accolades include:

* The 2025 Abbiati Prize and the International Classical Music Award (ICMA).

Winner of over 40 national and international competitions.

A protégé of legendary masters such as Antonio Meneses, David Geringas, and Enrico Dindo.

For his Cairo performance, Pagano will play his historic 1777 cello, handcrafted in Venice by Ignazio Ungaro.

This event serves as a celebration of cross-cultural harmony through music and stands as an open invitation to the Egyptian public to experience the elegance of Italian cello artistry at its finest.
