Today, April 30, the world celebrates the International Day of Jazz. This day symbolizes a tribute and a love letter to jazz music and its impact on culture, creativity, and social change.
Established by UNESCO in 2011, the day recognizes jazz as a unique art form that transcends national, cultural, and racial boundaries, bringing people together through its improvisational spirit and diverse influences.
