The Supreme Council of Judicial Bodies held a meeting this morning under the chairmanship of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi who declared several unprecedented decisions, according to Presidency Spokesperson Bassam Rady.
The meeting embraced, on Wednesday, Omar Marawan, Minister of Justice, Said Marei, President of the Supreme Constitutional Court, Abdullah Shawda, President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Mohamed Mahmoud Hossam El-Din, President of the State Council, Abdo Al-Oden, President of the Cairo Court of Appeal, Hamada Al-Sawy, Attorney General, Abu Bakr Al-Sedeki Amer, Head of the State Cases Authority, Essam El-Din El-Menshawi, Head of the Administrative Prosecution Authority, and Nagah Moussa, Secretary-General of the Council.

“The meeting witnessed a number of unprecedented issues, and historic decisions; namely:
“Sisi has been keen for years to revive the role of the Supreme Council of Judicial Bodies to achieve coordination and cooperation between judicial authorities and bodies, and to advance judicial affairs,” said Rady.
He added that these decisions will contribute to achieving full equality between men and women in assuming judicial functions in all judicial bodies and bodies.
