The Ministry of Social Solidarity is preparing to launch the "START 2026" event on June 19 at the Grand Egyptian Museum, in a major event designed to provide an integrated experience supporting youth and connecting them with training, employment opportunities and economic empowerment pathways.
Dr. Maya Morsy, Minister of Social Solidarity, held a meeting with the team of the Social Solidarity Units Project at Egyptian universities to follow up on the final preparations for the event. During the meeting, the executive status, organizational arrangements and technical preparations were reviewed.
The meeting revealed new details about "START 2026", as specialized areas have been prepared inside the Grand Egyptian Museum. These include a training and employment opportunities zone featuring 250 companies, offering direct networking opportunities between young people and potential employers, in addition to a career guidance zone with more than 70 professional advisors to help students and graduates identify their future career paths.
The event will also include a dedicated workshops area, as well as an experience-sharing zone featuring a large stage hosting experts, entrepreneurs, government representatives and private sector leaders to discuss future opportunities and labor market requirements.
The Minister was also briefed on the latest number of registrations through the START platform, along with plans for receiving participants and managing accompanying activities. The agenda of speakers and guests of honor was also reviewed.
Dr. Maya Morsy emphasized that "START 2026" represents an important national platform to enhance youth readiness for the labor market by providing spaces for learning, networking and building experience. She stressed the importance of delivering the event according to the highest organizational standards.
She praised the cooperation with the Grand Egyptian Museum Authority, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and project partners, confirming that the success of the event reflects an effective model of integration between state institutions and the private sector to support the future of Egyptian youth.
