Focus has released a first look photo of Aaron Taylor-Johnson in Robert Eggers’ latest feature "Werwulf".
While an official synopsis for the project has yet to be released, the film has a tagline: “Werwulf is a harrowing tale of devotion, damnation, and the devil within.”
Continuing his run of historically-rooted horror after "The Witch," "The Lighthouse," "The Northman," and "Nosferatu," Eggers penned the script with his frequent collaborator, Sjón.

The movie extends his relationship with Focus Features following "Nosferatu," which broke out as a critical and commercial hit at a worldwide gross of around $181M, and followed his work on "The Northman."
It also reunites the director with past collaborators Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Lily-Rose Depp, and Willem Dafoe.
Focus Features, which debuted the film’s trailer at Cinemacon earlier this year, financed the feature and produced it alongside Eggers and Sjón, with Maiden Voyage’s Chris and Eleanor Columbus executive producing. Like "Nosferatu," it’s set to release on Christmas Day.
