Wegz Sparks Marriage Rumors

WegzEgyptian rapper Wegz sparked marriage rumors after he shared on Friday an Instagram Story a photo of himself with a mystery woman.

The photo showed the rapper in a black suit and the woman, whose face he kept hidden, in a white dress.

"All praise and thanks are only for Allah, the One Who, by His blessing and favor, good works are accomplished ❤️" he captioned the photo.

The post has sent his fans into meltdown, who were puzzled whether Wegz was getting married or working on a new project.

Ahmed Ali, known as “Wegz,” is one of the distinguished rappers in Egypt and the Arab world.

He began his music career in 2017 by releasing a few tracks including “Batalo Fake” featuring Hesham Raptor, and “Barbeque”.

The rapper has also collaborated with several musicians such as Molotof, DJ Totti, L5VAV, Fishawy, and Savage Plug. His song “ElBakht” was Egypt's and the region's top-streamed song, followed by “B3oda Ya Belady” and “Keify Keda,” coming in fourth and tenth in Egypt, respectively.

"ElBakht" was also the most streamed Arabic song on Anghami in 2022, with 45 million plays across 11 MENA countries, breaking the record for the highest number of streams ever recorded in a single year.

In 2022, the rapper was named Spotify’s most-streamed Arab artist in MENA and Egypt's most-streamed artist for the third year in a row.
