Egyptian actress Ghada Adel has been tapped to lead the second season of the TV series “Watar Hassas", which launches filming in mid-July and airs during the off-season.
Injy El Mokkaddem, Heidy Karam are also set to return for the drama alongside the creative team from season one, scriptwriter Amin Gamal and director Wael Farag.
It will also witness the absence of many familiar faces for various reasons, most notably Saba Mubarak, Mohamed Alaa, Jana Ashkar, and Ahmed Gamal Said.
Season 1 of the series, debuted on October 27, tackled the issue of marital infidelity and the secrets of the human psyche through three women (a doctor, a lawyer, and an employee), as the pace of events escalates due to the disputes between the lawyer and her interior designer husband, especially after she accuses him of infidelity, with the relationships between all parties becoming intertwined.
The series also starred Mohamed El Amroussi, Hager Afify, Mohamed Aly Rezk, Ahmed Tarek Nour, and more. "Watar Hassas" consists of 45 episodes and was produced by United Media Services.
Season 2 of "Watar Hassas" takes place after the events of the first season. The creators of "Watar Hassas" will also add new elements to the plot to keep up with the events.
