WAMA Collab with Aziz El-Shafei on Song "Mish Helwa Bas"

Egyptian lyricist and composer, Aziz El-Shafei took to Instagram stories to promote his upcoming collaboration with “Wama” band.

They teamed up on a song titled “Mish Helwa Bas”, which is written and composed by El-Shafei.

The song is produced by Nogoum Records and is set to be released soon on YouTube.

In July 2021, Wama and El-Shafei teamed up on the song “Negma Maadeya”.

It marked the first collaboration between the band and the lyricist.

Wama was founded in 1998 by Ahmed Fahmi and Mohamed Nour; it also includes Mohamed Nour and Nader Hamdy.

The band first appeared in 2003. They presented numerous successful albums and songs, including “Ya Leil” (2003), “Ghalya Alaya” (2005), “Rayha Gaya” (2010), and “Kan Yamakan” (2015).

All of the band members managed to benefit from their success and were able to find their own space in the entertainment and work independently in different artistic sectors, such as acting and composing, without affecting the band.

Wama released their latest album, "El Seif Ebtada" in 2019.

The album consisted of 10 songs.

In the album, the band collaborated with a large number of poets and composers including Ayman Bahgat Amar, Amir Teima, Nader Abdullah, Mohamed Atef, Jamal Al-Khouli, Ahmed Al-Maliki, Tamer Hussein, Khaled Ezz, Rami Jamal, Tamer Ashour, Ahmed Salah Hosny, and Madih.
