Violent Missile Attacks Target US Oil Bases in Eastern Syria

The headquarters of the pro-US Kurdish militiamen (known also as Syria Democratic Forces- "SDF)   in a number of towns in the countryside of  Deir Ez-Zor, eastern Syria, were subjected to the most violent attacks in a long time.

The latest attacks coincided with violent clashes that erupted between members of the Arab tribes and the  Kurdish militants of those forces in the towns.

Well-informed local sources told Sputnik's correspondent in Deir Ez-Zor that the missile attacks were coordinated and simultaneous, targeting a large number of military headquarters of the "SDF".

The Kurdish militants requested urgent support from the US occupation forces so that the latter intervened with its helicopters and sent military convoys to those towns.

The sources added that the town of "Al-Busira" witnessed violent clashes after unknown persons targeted with "RBG" anti-tanks rockets the headquarters of the so-called "First Brigade" of the "SDF" forces loyal to the US.

In the context, unknown persons also called on the people to abide in their homes in the town of "Dhiban" near the base of the Al-Omar oil field, followed by an armed attack on a military point belonging to the "SDF" militants near the water station of Al-Omar field.

Violent clashes in the "Mahatta", followed by the intervention of the American warplanes by throwing flares and piercing the sound barrier amid a state of panic among the people.

Eyewitnesses from the eastern countryside of Deir Ez-Zor spoke to the correspondent of "Sputnik", A Russian news agency,  about "the departure of military reinforcements for the American occupation forces and the elements loyal to them from the bases of the "Al-Omar oil" and "Koniko gas" fields, accompanied by warplanes and helicopters, to support the military points of the SDF forces." which has been subjected to continuous violent attacks over the past hours.”

The "Sputnik" reporter in Deir Ez-Zor indicated that the results of the attacks have not yet been known due to the intensification of the battles taking place in the area.
