On Sunday, veteran star George Wassouf bid a final farewell to his eldest son, Wadih, where his body departed from St. Nicholas Church in Al Ashrafiyya.
Some of the guests played Wassouf songs during moving the body of the son as a tribute.
Dozens of Lebanese stars visited the funeral of Wassouf's son to express their shock, sorrow, and condolences to the icon such as Maya Diab, Ramy Aiach, Melhan Zain, Walid Tawfiq, and Assi El Hellani.
One of the videos showed Wassouf breaking down in tears while an attempt of his wife to calm him. He kept saying: "Wadih is gone."
Wadih, passed away after staying in the hospital for days, following an operation that led to major complications.
Wadih entered a hospital in Lebanon on 27 December 2022 to undergo gastric bypass surgery and suffered from some complications, which required transferring blood units, media outlets reported.
