Legendary Lebanese singer Fairuz, accompanied by her daughter Rima, received condolences for the passing of her youngest son, Hali Rahbani, at the Church of Our Lady’s Dormition in the Mahidatha, Bekfaya area. Fairuz was visibly overcome with grief as she paid her respects.

Hali Rahbani, born in 1958, had lived with both mental and physical disabilities since birth and also suffered from kidney problems.

He passed away at home at the age of 68, according to Lebanese media reports.
His death comes just months after the passing of his brother, renowned composer Ziad Rahbani, who died on July 26, 2025. Hali’s first birthday following his brother’s passing was observed on January 1 of this year, adding to the family’s sorrow.
During the funeral, Fairuz placed a bouquet of white roses on her son’s coffin, inscribed with the words “To my beloved son.”
His sister Rima also offered a bouquet, writing “To my beloved brother,” in a heartfelt tribute.
