Veteran Artist Samir Sabry Discharged from Hospital

Veteran artist Samir Sabry was discharged from hospital two days ago, local reports said on Monday.

The reports highlighted that his health improved, and he is also getting better after returning home.

Last month, Enayat, the sister of veteran Egyptian actor Samir Sabry, shared an update about his current health condition.

In a press statement, she stated that the famous actor is still receiving medical treatment at the Armed Forces Hospital in Maadi.

Enayat disclosed that the doctors postponed his delicate heart surgery for the third time due to the surgical procedures cannot be carried out with his current medical condition.

Furthermore, she added that Sabry didn't have any interviews or media appearances since he was transported to the hospital, and the show recorded by his voice that streamed during Ramadan was recorded three months ago.

The acclaimed star is an Egyptian singer, actor, and entertainer. He was born on December 27, 1936, in Alexandria.

Sabry graduated from Victoria College. he began his career by presenting the radio show “At your request” in the English language.

In 1959, he made his first appearance on the silver screen alongside famous Radio star Amaal Fahmy in Abdul Halim Hafez’s “Hekayet Hobb” (Love story).
