Veteran artist, musician, and composer Ahmed El Haggar passed away at the age 65 due to a heart attack early Wednesday.
El Haggar was the son of iconic composer Ibrahim El Haggar, and the brother of popular singer Ali El Haggar.
The funeral prayer of the late artist would be organized in today's noon in Cairo.

Born for music expert-parents, El Haggar was taught the basics of music writing and composition by his father, later on he joined the Higher Institute of Arabic Music.
He studied lute and piano playing, musical sheets, and eastern and western genres. Therefore, the musician started his professional career at a young age, and his first composition was "O'zereni" that was performed by Ali El Haggar.

During his career, he introduced hundreds of successful compositions for Mohamed Fouad, Hesham Abbas, Angham, Anushka, and others.
He also set music for dozens of films and TV shows such as "Amrica Shika Bika," "Khalty Safiyah Wa Al Dair," and "Khoyout Al Shams."
Moreover, he released four albums as a composer and singer such as "Haneen," and his most popular hit was "Oud."
