Veteran Actor Ahdy Sadek Passes Away

Egyptian veteran actor Ahdy Sadek passed away on Monday at the age of 72, after a struggle with illness.

The late actor's health took turn for the worse prior to his death and was hospitalized in an intensive care room at a local hospital.

Sadek, born in 1950, and was known for his supporting roles. He began his artistic career in the early seventies with small roles.

The late actor was distinguished by his calm, sober style and distinguished acting skills. He starred in more than 240 TV and film productions.

He is known for his roles in most prominent roles were in the TV series "Arabesque" (1994), the TV series "Layali Al-Helmia" (1987), the TV series "Bawabat Al Halawani" (1992), the TV series “Raafat El Haggan” (1994), and the film "El Kaif " (1985).

Sadek is slated to make his final screen appearance in Ramadan 2022 with the TV series "Al Sir" (The Secret), starring Hussein Fahmy.
