Belgium-born action-film star Jean-Claude Van Damme expressed his happiness on participating in the Egyptian prank show, “Ramez Movie Star”.

Van Damme reposted a report on his Facebook Page about the impressive records and views that the show had achieved during the holy month of Ramadan. He wrote: "Glad to know that a prank show which I have participated in has reached 730 million views just in 8 days!"

His comment refuted many rumors that have been spreading recently about a dispute between the action movie star and Ramez Galal, an Egyptian actor who introduces the prank show.

Held under the auspices of Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Authority (GEA), the prank show is inspired by the dystopian Mad Max franchise “Mad Max”.

Meanwhile, the show is broadcast during the Ramadan 2022 drama marathon on the “MBC Masr” TV channel.

Many celebrities and public figures appeared on the show including, Dorra Zarrouk, Ghada Adel, Tara Emad, Hannah El Zahed, Huda El Mufti, Mayan El Sayed, Aïcha Ben Ahmed, Soleiman Eid, and others.
