Usher and his longtime partner Jennifer Goicoechea tied the knot in Las Vegas just hours after the R&B superstar’s performance at the Super Bowl half-time show on Sunday.
“We can confirm that Usher and Jennifer Goicoechea took the next step in their relationship and did get married on Sunday night in Las Vegas surrounded by close friends and family,” said a representative for Usher. “They both look forward to continuing to raise their children together surrounded by love and thank everyone for the well wishes.”
The “U Got It Bad” singer took to Instagram on Wednesday to share the first photos from the wedding.
“One of them Ones 💍 2.11.24,” he captioned the post, which you can check out here.
The duo exchanged vows at Vegas Weddings, and Usher’s mom Jonetta Patton was the couple’s witness.
The ceremony was officiated by the Rev Ronald Joseph Polrywka, better known locally as Ron DeCar and is known to dress as an Elvis Presley impersonator.
Usher, 45, and Goicoechea, 40, have been together since 2019 and have two children.
They welcomed their first child, daughter Sovereign Bo, in 2020 and son, Sire Castrello, in 2021. Usher also has two sons, Usher V and Naviyd Ely, who he shares with his ex-wife, Tameka Foster.
