US to Make Hawass’s Hat, Proceeds Go to 57357 Cancer Hospital

Mohammed al-Sherbini, member of the American Chamber of Commerce in San Francisco said Monday that Hawass is one of the world outstanding archaeologists.

He added that Hawass’s lectures and symposiums about archaeology and Egypt’s civilization are attended by a huge number of people from all over the world.

The owner of the US-based company unveiled the secret behind making replicas of Zahi’s hat saying that it is universally known, in addition to making use of the large number of global lovers for Hawass and the Egyptian civilization.

He pointed out that proceeds of the hat sales will go to 57357 children's cancer hospital in support for the treatment of patients and buying necessary equipment.

He said that his company is the only one that has the right to make replicas of the hat upon a previous agreement signed with Hawass.

He added, I agreed with Hawass to donate our profit shares for 57357 hospital to support the country’s children.

Al-Sherbini confirmed that there is a high turnout of buyers for the hat in the US, Australia and Eastern European countries, noting that the final sale price hasn’t been set yet.

He also called everyone to donate for providing needed care for cancer victims and contribute to cure cancer.

“Cancer doesn't have borders, it affects everyone in the world regardless of race or gender”, he said, adding, “There are 13 million cancer victims, and over 21 million new cases diagnosed annually worldwide."

He added that he has previously contracted with Hawass to sell replicas of his hat since 2016.

“We started selling the hat two years ago after it was agreed to be made in China”, he said, adding, “I expect that there will be high turnout for buying the hat in the US during the coming period.

He is a world-renowned archaeologist, former Egyptian Minister of Antiquities and Director of Excavations at Giza, Saqqara, Bahariya Oasis, and the Valley of the Kings.
