The US State Department has approved a potential $80.1 million sale of Switchblade 300 Block 20 loitering munition systems to Greece, strengthening Athens' precision strike capabilities.
The proposed deal includes Switchblade 300 Block 20 systems, commonly known as kamikaze drones, manufactured by AeroVironment. The drones are designed to identify, track and strike targets with precision while providing operators with real-time battlefield intelligence.
The approval is part of the US foreign military sales process and is intended to support Greece's defense modernization and enhance interoperability with allied forces.
