An unpublished novel by iconic author Louis-Ferdinand Céline will be published next month by Gallimard editions. The novel entitled "War."

The manuscript was revealed to the public last August, and the forthcoming edition will be the first part of classic White collection that established by Pascal Fouché.

Gallimard said for presenting the book: “a bundle of two hundred and fifty pages revealing a novel whose action takes place in Flanders during the Great War”.

The new edition will contain “draft manuscript, written some two years after the publication of journey to the Edge of the Night"

The publisher added: “Céline, between autobiographical story and work of imagination, lifts the veil on the central experience of her existence: the physical and moral trauma of the front”, adds the publisher.

Gallimard concluded that that the writer believed that the war will last forever as he witnessed the beginning of the World War I and his life was shaped by the horrors and madness of war events.
