Under the patronage of Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, the artist, Dr. Enas Abdel Dayem, Minister of Culture, Dr. Khaled El-Anany, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, and Major General Abdel Majid Saqr, Governor of Al- Suez will launch the activities of the first edition of Al-Suez Festival for Music and Singing.
The Festival is organized by the Ministry of Culture represented by the Egyptian Opera House headed by Dr. Magdy Saber, in cooperation With the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities represented by the Tourism Promotion Authority and the Suez Governorate; it will be held at Al- Suez National Museum for 3 consecutive days from 24 to 26 June and it includes 6 various artistic shows.
Abdel Dayem thanked Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly for his sponsorship of the festival and many other activities of the Ministry of Culture, which affirms the role of soft power in building society and developing awareness.
She added that all the parts of Egypt are witnessing a perse intellectual and artistic movement aiming to achieve cultural justice and spread enlightenment.
She confirmed that choosing Al- Suez National Museum to host the first edition of the festival - in coordination with the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities- comes due to its unique artifacts that narrate part of Egypt's ancient civilization, which is one of the sources of contemporary inspirations.
It is noteworthy that the program of the activities of the first edition of Al- Suez Festival for Music and Singing presents variety of artistic branches – 6 shows in 3 consecutive nights including :- Sohba Semsemiah Ensemble, a concert for the great artist Hani Shaker accompanied by the orchestra led by Maestro Mustafa Helmy, a show for the artist Nesma Abdel Aziz and her band.
It will also include a concert for the artist Ahmed Jamal and his band and concerts for the opera stars of the Arab music, Rehab Mutawa , Hasna , Walid Haider , Ashraf Walid and the singer Reham Abdel Hakim accompanied by the orchestra led by Maestro Ahmed Amer.
