The family of the legendary singer Umm Kulthum responded to Amr Mostafa's claims to use Artificial Intelligence to produce new music for Um Kulthum.
The family filed a lawsuit at the General Prosecutor's office against Mostafa to prevent him to use Umm Kulthum without their permission.
They added that Mosafa didn't ask for their permission to use the voice of Umm Kulthum.
On the other hand, Mostafa said that the new technology motivated him to try Umm Kulthum's voice with one of his compositions.
In addition, Producer Mohsen Gaber opposed Mostafa, and rejected the idea of releasing a new song for the legendary voice by Mostafa.
